2019 WINTER BALL

I am honored to be on the LGBT Network's 2019 Winter Ball Committee in commemoration of World's AIDS Day.  The LGBT Network is the only LGBT specific non-profit organization on Long Island, that plays an important role in combating HIV. 
 
Funds raised through the Winter Ball specifically benefit the LGBT Network’s HIV and STD preventative services.  These services give individuals access to free testing, support, and treatment services.  Long Island and Queens have the highest rate of HIV in New York State, and funds raised through the Winter Ball not only help identify and diagnose an individual with HIV or any STI, but also allows the LGBT Network to connect them to proper treatment which assists in preventing further spread of the virus. This is a virus that impacts so many.
